peonies

peonies are the best.

db got me these for our ♡. someday i'll have a huge bush of them in my garden, i'll make sure we can see them from our favorite sitting spot. we'll sit in our adirondack chairs just being and listening and smelling good smells. sounds pretty nice doesn't it? i absolutely love this time of year, i'm going to miss being able to steal away to my parents' amazing backyard to just soak it all in. i think one of the first things i'm going to do with my free time in philly is see if i can nab a little bit of dirt in a community garden. we'll plant tomatoes, strawberries (for next year), greens and a little light pink peony plant.
