ok, so sorry for a million pics of this project... i couldn't decide! i like them all!
so this is the 12th of the 2012 dirty dozen and i managed to finish it (shockingly even including blocking) in time to wear up north for the holidays/apocalypse! i ran into a little trouble at first losing one stitch every fourth row in the lace and throwing off the whole pattern, but i messaged Jane and she helped me out which was awesome. after only one false start i destroyed this thing in one fell swoop. pretty good for never having done lace this fancy before right? i love it. the lace bit at the top is so cool. it's not too fussy, is really interesting to knit and looks great on the finished cardigan. the sizing is awesome too, it fits perfectly! also of note, i was the first to finish this pattern on ravelry! pretty cool side effect of needing to finish it before the new year or else blow my goal of 12 projects in 2012. i can't wait to see the rest that are currently in the works on rav, there are some awesome colors on deck...
