so today what did db and i do? went to wickford to pick up the yarn he special ordered for me, drank REAL iced tea and had a delicious rocky road brownie while watching the quonset airshow over the water, finally bought a jungle plant for our apt and then played with all of the above.

there were many great and amazing things about long island, but i have to say that the random playground we found and being in a car and on a boat at the same time were the two most awesome. sorbet and fancy champagne at a french restaurant in the hamptons while sitting outside during a tornadoe watch was up there too. it was delish and db and i were forbidden from refilling our own glasses... it was fun.

even on the foggiest and most grey day a wine, cheese, bread and grape picnic on the rocks at colt state is still one of my favorite things

7 inches into the first seam i should have known this project was fucking doomed

none of my other creative endeavors leave me penniless, on the verge of tears, totally irrational and completely pissed off at 3am. maybe i should just quit while i'm behind. i'm wearing jeans to the wedding tomorrow and if anyone gives me shit i'm going to shove my eyeliner pen in their neck.

next time i want to look like i'm wearing a trash bag i'm sure as shit not going to spend $30 on gorgeous fabric to cut up and waste, i'm going to walk to the kitchen and reach under the sink.
